We would like to encourage you to submit article(s) to a special issue of Frontiers in Cellular Neuroscience – section Neuropharmacology, for the article collection with the research topic: Adenosinergic System and Central Nervous System Disorders. This special edition will be edited by Professors Rui Daniel Prediger (UFSC) and Francisney Pinto Nascimento (UNILA) from Brazil and Professor Paula Agostinho (University of Coimbra) from Portugal. We search for original, review articles, case studies and brief reports of experimental in vitro, in vivo and clinical studies.

The Frontiers publications are in Open Acess, which allow immediate online access to the scholarly literature for anyone in the world to read, distribute and reuse. Thus, there are Article Processing Charges; however, authors can apply for discount and exemption from here.

We would like to encourage you to submit article(s) to a Special Issue of Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity, for the article collection with the research topic: “The Role of Oxidative Imbalance on Pulmonary Diseases”. This special edition will be edited by Vinicius Carvalho (IOC-Fiocruz) and Emiliano Barreto (UFAL) from Brazil, Tatiana Victoni (University of Lyon) and Vincent Lagente (University of Rennes-1) from France.

This Special Issue invites investigators to submit original research articles as well as review articles that aim to increase our knowledge about the effects of ROS imbalance and/or signalling on the development or aggravation of pulmonary diseases as well as the effects of compounds with antioxidant properties on acute or chronic lung diseases.

Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:

• ROS signalling pathways involved in resolution and/or chronicity of inflammatory response in lungs
• ROS imbalance involved in development or aggravation of lung diseases
• ROS-induced resistance to lung diseases therapy
• Effects of old and new compounds with antioxidant properties on pulmonary diseases
